Even in the wake of a triumphant victory, the consensus still says the creative class isn’t allowed to make art about Donald Trump unless it portrays him as stupid, evil, or disfigured.
Along with a long list of wrongs that have to be made right, government bureaucrats who need to be fired, and pride in the country which must be restored, this myth about artists has to end.
Rest assured he doesn’t win due to the ineptitude of his opponents. He wins because he’s already won, and continues to win long after he’s won.
Trump leads a movement comprised of people who know this fight transcends the realm of politics, who know he’s not a politician. Who know this is the fight for the future. Not saving “democracy,” but the republic. A movement which even state media now admits is comprised of ALL kinds of people you wouldn’t expect, from all backgrounds, of all colors and religions. People from all walks who can no longer live the lie. Who want a better world for their children. Who know for all Trump’s flaws, that he never said there were very fine people on both sides, never told anyone to inject bleach, and never assaulted a woman in the empty lingerie department at Bergdorf Goodman.
Descendants of founders and recent (legal) arrivals. Longtime MAGA fans, constitutional defenders, and guess who else? Former liberals and new-age hippie types who now see Trump’s fight as the banner for spiritual awakening in the west, and by extension the globe.
It’s the story we don’t get to hear as often, with a unique creative flair seldom seen in anything but works that lampoon and deride Donald Trump.
An American folk hero of epic proportions, Trump has become a mythological figure in a classical narrative arc that demands a satisfying conclusion. Not God or savior, but chosen by God, perhaps, to tell the truth.
It’s for this reason they still want him dead… so we continue to pray.
